Book Review Dear Dr. Bell... Your friend, Helen Keller

I recently finished reading the non-fiction book: "Dear Dr. Bell ... Your friend, Helen Keller."by Judith St. George. This book is a biography of two amazing people and their friendship. Alexander Graham Bell is known by most people as the inventor of the Telephone, but Mr. Bell's first profession was as a teacher to the deaf, and that is how he came to know Helen Keller. Helen Keller lost her hearing and sight from a disease when she was a child. Ms. Keller eventually learned to read (Braille), write ,and speak. Learning to speak for most deaf people is very difficult. Ms. Keller eventually became an international celebrity as an activist for the disabled. "Dear Dr. Bell ..." is a fascinating look at two people who literally changed the world.
